Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn’t help. Thanks for your feedback. This is the 2nd time that I have uninstalled the driver. After installation, I got a pop up that said no appropriate drive to be installed. So, I figured since the OS was originally win 8, that I would get the driver for win 8 for my device, and it took me to this link after installing.
I did do a windows update check and it didn’t find anything for my bluetooth, nor did it ask me to do anything after uninstalled it and restarted my laptop. I am going to see if just shutting down will do anything. Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community.

I’ve been having this problem for over 2 years now. I tried updating everything but to no avail. So I uninstalled the driver 2 days ago and restarted it and windows can’t even find my bluetooth now and nothing unknown shows up in device manager. I went to the lenovo website and downloaded the driver for it and windows tell me to make sure the device is plugged in and to turn it on. So, I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and now I keep getting sent to a page on the microsoft website that says windows has disabled it cause it might cause harm to my computer.
How do I fix this if even device manager isn’t picking up an unknown device? I even reset my pc but it didn’t do anything except wipe all my files. Is there a way to restore it to factory settings? I can’t find that option on this version of windows. This thread is locked. You can follow the question or vote as helpful, but you cannot reply to this thread. I have the same question Report abuse.
