You can make traditional Mega Man levels, a series of puzzle chambers or even automatic levels, anything goes! Mega Man X Maker VII was created by Red1Fouad as an asset replacment Mod and music replacment mod. The Mod replaces many sprites and tilesets with Mega Man X ones, and changes some of the music to Mega Man 7 tracks. It uses SPC music instead of NSF. Red1Fouad had stopped working on this mod in order to work on other mods.

Mods are community-created modifications for Mega Man Maker that alter, adjust, or add content to the game such as textures, music , sound effects, and text. The music is specially separated to facilitate possible replacements. Music mods can be made by replacing the NSF files in the Music folder.

The music style is made in Nintendo Sound Format files. Modifications to other assets can be made by altering the data. The Mega Man 9 and 10 Mod is a texture mod made by Bucket. It includes background and tileset edits, as well as a sprite edit. So far, version 1. The Kirby Mod is a texture mod made by RedFlash. It includes background, tileset, and sprite edits.
