This reflects the fact that the functions of these footswitches are freely assignable. The three rightmost footswitches on the original FX8 are labeled “Scene” “Looper” and “Tempo”. Thread starter marknopfler Start date Dec 27, Jurek Member. It is widely believed. My friend says, he saw the signature inside the machine ‘Made in China’. I now that on the AX8 page they write that it all made in the US. Lkdog Experienced. I am sure FAS sources hardware everywhere like any tech company and most all of it is from Asia. Maybe they assemble it here. I don’t care. It is great build quality.
I have built PC’s from the ground up for decades. It is the way it is. Well I agree, Almost every electronics or part of it made in Asia this days. I had a mki and currently have a mkii. I didn’t notice any difference in build quality between the two. Supposedly the MKII has lower noise floor and there is some added feature with instrument input level setting. I have a MKII.
